At the Beginning of the 20th Year

Although there was no difference between the annual evaluation/year beginning staff meeting held at NPP Fire Service this January and those held in former years for an external observer, this year’s meeting was still a special one as NPP Fire Service has now entered its 20th year of operation, making it a jubilee event.
Upon welcoming guests and fire staff to the meeting, Fire Chief Péter Bőhm first gave a speech in commemoration of the years behind NPP Fire Service, and was glad to announce the 20th anniversary of the Nuclear Power Plant’s Fire Service as a really great event for them.
Then, he provided details to the attendees about last year’s events, results and achievements at NPP Fire Service, as well as about future plans and tasks to do in relation to an expansion of the Service.
Ambulance physician dr. Gábor Szvitán gave a presentation of NPP Ambulance Service operations.
Following the addresses, PA Zrt. CEO János Süli spoke highly of Fire Service staff’s work, firefighters’ human strength as well as their exemplary commitment and dedication.
Director of Tolna County Disaster Management Directorate Antal Mácsai also praised last year’s work outcomes of the Nuclear Power Plant-based knights of flames and underlined that successful NPP Fire Service operations were based on a forward-looking attitude.
