After completing a Highway Code course everybody has passed the exam, which included the following:

- Theory, professional drivers' test
- Practice

Driving practice in town
Inside driving routine course
Outside driving routine course

All our drivers had a training in the driving centre set up at Tököl Airport.

Theoretical and practical examinations have been defined in our performance evaluation system. The chart above shows that all members of the personnel passed the exam successfully. In the annual education-training program approved by the Disaster Protection Management of Tolna County we determined the image of training.

Drills

The fire service drills for the personnel have been organised and performed in accordance with the regulations of the 1/2003. (I. 9.) BM. (Ministry for Home Affairs) decree, appendix 2.
Last year we paid special attention to the drilling exercises accomplished together with operational department. At our headquarters the number of drills largely differed from the number prescribed, since the prescribed number of drills annually is at least 18, while the personnel performed different types of drills on 118 occasions.

The assessment of drills was carried out according to a score system worked out mutually with the shift-commanding personnel. The objectivity and correctness was promoted by the fact that more people (at least 3) checked the performance.

We put great emphasise to accomplish the drills according to the conditions in the fire- extinguishing plan.
The experience confirmed again that drills are necessary.
Besides our own drills we participated in the checking and local orientation drills organised in the district of the Paks Local Government Professional Fire Service.
