Municipal Fire Department of the City of Gyöngyös
4 September 2006

Guests from the Municipal Fire Department of the City of Gyöngyös paid a visit to the Nuclear Power Plant Fire Brigade on 4 September 2006.

Fire Chief Péter Bõhm welcomed our guests, making them acquainted with the tasks of the Nuclear Power Plant’s firemen and the method of training and preparation. Firemen from Gyöngyös were especially interested in topics like fire extinguishing operations on live equipment, quality management, alpine rescue activities and psychological training.

Following Péter Bõhm, Fire Fighting and Technical Rescue Chief István Schreiner showed our guests barracks, engines and equipment, and they could see a short exercise demonstrating rescue operations carried out high up. On leaving the premises, our guests expressed their satisfaction with the good work of our Fire Chiefs.
