Awards to Power Plant Firemen

On the occasion of the highest day of firefighters, St. Florian Day, named after the patron saint of firemen, celebrations were held throughout a number of big cities and small settlements of Hungary with awards presented in recognition for the commitment and hard work of firemen.
At the county St. Florian Day celebration in Bonyhád, 2 May, where, as part of the festive programme, our firemen held a demonstration using alpine technology and let children test fire fighting equipment, six from our Fire Service staff were also among those who got their due reward.
Firemen István Puxler was granted a Memorial Coin, Ede Ambach a Memorial Plaque, while Antal Koncz, Zoltán Gyetvai, Zoltán Szabó and István Kovács an ornamental article as a prize each.
