Red Cross Certificate of Merit to ATOMIX

On 14 May 2011, Tolna County Organization of the Hungarian Red Cross celebrated the 130th anniversary of the establishment of the Hungarian Red Cross and held on this occasion a celebration of World Red Cross Day.

At the celebration, County Chairman dr. Mária Kis and County Director Katalin Gulyás handed over the Certificate of Merit of the National Management of the Hungarian Red Cross to ATOMIX Kft’s Fire Fighting and Damage Prevention Branch.

The Branch received this recognition for their willing cooperation over a decade-long period. As regular participants at various Red Cross programmes, firemen from ATOMIX Kft’s Fire Fighting and Damage Prevention Branch arranged professional demonstrations and scored good results in first aid competitions at all levels, representing Tolna County, and also provided regular assistance to help solve the logistics part of transporting RC donations. István Schreiner, Fire and Rescue Head of ATOMIX Kft’s Fire Fighting and Damage Prevention Branch, had the honour to take over the Certificate of Merit.
